The 1FK6 three-phase servo motors are permanent-magnet excited synchronous motors.

1FK6 motors can be operated with the following built-in encoder systems:

• Incremental encoder sin/cos 1 V_PP
• Resolver
• Absolute-value encoder EnDat (multiturn)
• Single absolute-value encoder EnDat (multiturn)

The motors are primarily designed for operation without external ventilation, and heat is removed over the surface. Heat, which essentially accumulates only in the stator winding and in the stator core, can be directly removed through a good thermal connection to the motor housing. The particular advantage of the brushless, permanent-magnet excited synchronous motor concept is evident here.

Extension and separation options for power and signal cables

Power cables and signal cables can be extended or configured as required. In such cases, the connection options must be selected from Catalog NC Z.

The current-carrying capacity of the power cables conforms to IEC 60 204‑1 for cable laying method C under conditions of continuous operation and at an ambient temperature of +40 °C.
