The front panels can either be installed in the corresponding flush-mounting/surface-mounting casing (version A) or in any type of casing (version B). In the case of version B, customized front panels can also be connected over driver modules (e.g. synoptic indicator boards).

Using the illuminated pushbuttons of the TL 15 front panel and the pushbuttons that can be connected to the driver modules, the same functions are possible as with the bus pushbuttons (e.g. switching, dimming, controlling blinds).

Furthermore, several addresses for transmission can be assigned to the individual illuminated pushbuttons and the pushbuttons that can be connected to the driver modules i.e. each pushbutton can be used to call up several functions (e.g. light off, blind down, cooling active). The integrated LEDs of the illuminated pushbuttons of the TL 15 front panel are used for status indication.

Note: Two pushbuttons are used for functions such as dimming "lighter/darker".

Various binary operating states can be displayed over the LEDs of the L 40 front panel and the driver module's LEDs (e.g. corridor lighting on/off, cooling active).

Lamps for displaying binary operating states or relays (e.g. for switching electrical loads) can be connected to the outputs of the 24 V driver module.

Configuration and commissioning is carried out using special programming software.

Description for Variant B

Installation of signaling boards and/or mimic panels in any casing and connection of customized front panels over driver modules.

Up to six front panels and/or driver modules can be used in any combination.

The 5 V REG power supply unit is only required when used with the L 40 and TL 15 front panels.
