The MICROMASTER Integrated are standard frequency converters which can be mounted directly onto low-voltage three-phase motors. This allows fixed speed motors to be converted to variable speed motors.

MICROMASTER Integrated can be adapted various motors using a Motor Interface Plate (MIP). This customer specific plate adapts the motor connections to the MICROMASTER Integrated terminals and in addition represents an electrical interface allowing to securely connect the converter with four screws after fixing the MIP at the motor.

Using this approach MICROMASTER Integrated can be mounted to Siemens three-phase motors and a wide variety of converter-suitable motors from other manufacturers making it suitable for a wide range of OEM applications.

Compared to separately mounted converters and motors this combination offers the following advantages:

• No cables between converter and motor
• Suitable for installation in hostile industrial environments with its high degree of protection (IP65/IP54)
• Compact construction which also fulfils the EMC requirements
• Integrated potentiometer for speed setting
